La Verdad de Cristo y, ¡Qué Fácil Nos Resulta La Vida Moderna!
Como fin a la Semana Santa sigo hablando de religión. Es frecuente que la gente olvide que Jesucristo era un disidente, un incomprendido, un rebelde y, en definitiva, un marginado de la sociedad. No estaba conforme con el mundo que le rodeaba y quiso mejorarlo con sus acciones. Mi abuela, que es la única de mi familia que es católica practicante (aunque ella se define como cristiana), dice de él que fue el primer comunista y el primer hippie, y creo que no anda muy descaminada.
Es una pena que la iglesia haya olvidado, muy a propósito, el verdadero significado de Cristo. Sólo se quedan con el tópico de que murió por nuestros pecados, cuando yo creo que tiene mucho más significado sus acciones en vida, que su muerte.
Está perdiendo, la iglesia, una oportunidad de oro para modernizarse. Porque en el futuro, ¿quién va a hacer de sacerdote con las pocas vocaciones que hay en este momento? La Iglesia Protestante no tiene ese problema, porque además de estar creada hace menos tiempo permite cosas como el casamiento de sus sacerdotes o las sacerdotisas. De hecho, en Estados Unidos hay un resurgimiento del cristianismo que lleva, incluso, a tener grupos de música de rock muy duro encasillados en lo que se denomina Rock Cristiano y sus conciertos son multitudinarios. Hay incluso una famosa ex-actriz porno, Sky López, que se retiró de ese tipo de cine para seguir los pasos del cristianismo.
No es que me importe mucho los caminos que siga la iglesia, pero creo (como ya dije) que siempre hay algo positivo en todas las religiones y en el Vaticano deberían planteárselo. Aunque, creo, que con este Papa va a ser muy difícil (yo sigo pensando que se parece muchísimo al emperador de "La Guerra de las Galaxias", el creador de Darth Vader)
Cambiando de tema. Que fácil nos resulta la vida moderna y no nos damos ni cuenta. Tener agua corriente, encender un fuego de la cocina, tener luz por la noche, poder comunicarnos a kilómetros de distancia,... Cosas que al hombre le ha costado millones de años descubrir, nosotros lo podemos hacer en segundos, y no le damos valor, lo damos por hecho, como si la vida fuera así por el simple hecho de ser seres humanos y estar vivos.
Si nos quedáramos sin una sola cosa de la vida moderna, lo notaríamos tanto que nos volveríamos locos, pero seguimos sin darnos cuenta. Y seguiremos sin darnos cuenta si cada vez que nos duchemos con agua caliente, comamos comida cocinada, nos comuniquemos con un ser querido a distancia o leamos un libro por la noche, no se lo agradezcamos a todos los que lo han hecho posible y nos sintamos privilegiados de tener lo que tenemos.
Mientras eso no ocurra, no sabremos realmente lo que es ser hombre y lo que conlleva. Pero para darse cuenta de lo que tenemos, solamente hay que pensar que es lo que tendríamos que hacer si no tuviéramos estos adelantos, entonces sí, estaríamos dándole el verdadero valor a las cosas.
Hace tan sólo quince años, si dijéramos que tendríamos la oportunidad de escribir algo, y que lo pudieran leer en casi todas las partes del mundo, nos tacharían de locos y la verdad es que, en cierto modo, tendrían razón.

Tienes razón Yago, todo tiene un lado bueno. Las religiones han ayudado mucho a socializar y sobe todo a tranquilizar.
Cito de memoria, pero creo que Savater en La vida eterna, dice algo como que "cumplen el papel para la gente que los filósofos hallan en el razonamiento".
Muchas veces tendemos a simplificar e identificamos cosas como el infierno, que se define como el lugar de todos los males y la ausencia de cualquier bien.
Por algo no existe.
